What we collect
When you request an evaluation, we collect the application materials you upload or paste — your essays, supplements, activities list, and any transcript notes — along with the target school you select and the email address you provide for delivery.
We use a passwordless magic-link sign-in, so we store your email address and the sign-in tokens needed to deliver your report and let you return to it.
How we use it
Your materials are used solely to generate your evaluation report and to power the iterate loop, which compares each new draft you submit against your previous ones.
We use a privacy-respecting analytics tool (PostHog) to understand aggregate product usage. Analytics are opt-in and never include the contents of your essays.
What we never do
We never send your essays to any model provider for training, and your materials are never used to train any AI model — ours or anyone else's.
We never sell your personal information or your application materials to anyone.
Storage and deletion
Your materials are stored encrypted in our database for the duration of your iterate loop so you can return to and re-run your evaluation. You can delete an evaluation at any time, which removes the associated materials.
We retain payment records as required for accounting and tax purposes. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never store your full card details.
